TO BE HUMAN
My story, called The Downside of Upright, was a very different type of evolution story.
The National Geographic usually did what we called ‘stones and bones’ evolution stories. This time they wanted me to do a story that was on:
Why do we have bad backs?
Why is childbirth painful if we evolved so beautifully?
Why do we have all these problems?
My story, what’s in your mind, was about what the brain does.
